Client Image Gallery: Instructions / Help

Using our Client Image Gallery to view your previews and select which pictures you'd like to have us retouch is easy, private, and convenient! The following instructions will guide you through this process:

Step 1) Login

To login to our system, enter the username/password we provided to you via email a short time after your shoot.

If you have not received an email with your login information 7 days after your shoot, please CONTACT us.

Step 2) View your previews

Home Screen

After logging in, the system will display your home screen.

Here, you will see a thumbnail for the album containing your previews, with the title of the album printed below. (For example, "Artie's Photo Shoot").

Click on the thumbnail.

The system will now display thumbnails of all of your individual pictures.

Clicking on any thumbnail will take you to the File Information Screen.

File Information Screen

This screen displays an intermediate-sized image, a thumbnail filmstrip of the other pictures in the album, and details about the file. From this screen, you'll be able to view full-size previews, add comments, and select your favorites.

Features:

A) Navigate between intermediate images.

-This can be accomplished in one of two ways. You can use the buttons on the header bar to navigate between images, return to the first image, or move ahead to the last image in the album, or you can use your keyboard's right and left arrow keys to move between images.

B) View full-sized images

- To view full-sized images, simply click on the intermediate image.

C) Select your favorite photos

- You can select photos as your favorites in one of two ways: First, you can use the star- shaped button in the upper-right hand corner of the page to mark a photo as a favorite. Alternately, you may click the "Add to Favorites" link located in the file information, below the intermediate image.

D) Add comments to your photos

- If you wish, you may use the comments field at the bottom of the page to add comments for us to consider during the retouching of your photos. In order to save time, please only comment on photos which you've selected as your favorites (as described in Step 4).

Step 3) Choose your favorites

Once you've viewed all of the previews in your album, it's time to select the photos you'd like us to retouch.

Use the features of the file information screen to add these photos to your "My Favorites" album (refer to Step 2, feature C). Don't worry if you're having trouble narrowing down the list, you can remove photos from your "My Favorites" album in Step 4.

Step 4) Review your favorites

Now that you've selected your favorite photos, it's time to review your selections.

*IMPORTANT* You'll need to make sure that the number of photos you've selected for retouching corresponds to the package you purchased, otherwise additional charges of $10/image will apply. If you're not sure how many photos you're allowed to chose, you can review the details of your package on our PRICING page.

From the "Album List" drop-down menu, select "My Favorites".

This will bring you to the "My Favorites" Album Screen, where you'll see thumbnails of all of the photos you've selected as favorites

"My Favorites" Album Screen

You can remove files at this stage by clicking the checkbox below the thumbnail of the picture you'd like to remove and clicking "Remove Selected".

Clicking on any thumbnail will bring you to the File Information Screen for your "My Favorites" album. You can also remove photos from this album at this stage by clicking the "Remove from Favorites" link located in the file information.

Step 5) Email Us

Once your "My Favorites" album contains all of the photos you'd like us to retouch, please send us a brief email indicating that you'd like us to begin working on your photos. We'll send you a confirmation email, and begin work as soon as possible.

Once the retouching of your photos is complete, we will email them directly to you.

Melanie Kelly Photography's Client Image Gallery is a private and secure system designed to make the process of viewing and selecting previews convenient for our customers.

We ask that you do not change your password or username.

In order to protect your privacy, we will not share your login information with anyone. Should you wish to allow others to view your previews, simply provide them with your username/password directly.

The images contained in this system are unedited previews, intended to assist you in selecting your final photographs. As such, they are not meant to be displayed publicly. For this reason, unauthorized use of any images contained in this image gallery is strictly forbidden.
